It is a circuit that is located south of the city of Cusco, that is why it makes it special. It is a Valley of impressive landscapes and memorable archaeological centers where it also shows us the customs and traditions of the towns that are visited.
The places of visit are the following:
1.- ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE OF TIPON
It is an extremely spectacular archaeological site located in this Valley that offers the visitor great cultural and landscape value. Tipón is one of the royal enclosures and gardens that Wiracocha ordered to build, it has an extraordinary and perfected hydraulic system for irrigation, it has 12 large terraces that were used for agriculture. It was a philosophical palace and also a temple for the worship of water.
2.- ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE OF PIKILLACTA
The most famous and best preserved pre-Inca city of the ancient cities that existed in Peru. It is from the Wari Culture, it is characterized by its spectacular constructions; since they were great urban planners for their perfect avenues and streets.
3.- THE SISTINE TEMPLE OF ANDAHUAYLILLAS
Our last place to visit, one of the ancient Temples to admire. Also called “The Sistine Chapel of America”. It receives visitors in its cozy and serene Plaza de Armas. Inside we will find beautiful and magnificent wall paintings, richly decorated Baroque-style canvases and an altar in gold leaf. After the visit to the beautiful Sistina, we return to the city of Cusco.
